POLLARD HEALTH & SAFETY CULTURE ACKNOWLEDGED BY RoSPA WITH GOLD MEDAL AWARD
South West regional contractor, Pollard, has been given special recognition by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) having received their Gold Medal Award for 2016.
The Gold Medal Award is a demonstration of continuous improvement within the company and follows the achievement of six consecutive Gold Awards.
Commenting on the Award Bill Badham, Managing Director of Pollard said “We are thrilled that RoSPA, such an important and respected organisation in the field of health and safety, have recognised our company with this prestigious Gold Medal Award. It reflects the importance we place on the wellbeing of our staff and those who come into contact with us on our projects.”

The scheme is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas. Judges consider the businesses occupational health and safety management systems, to appraise good practice with regards to leadership and workforce involvement. Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of awards and events, said: “To win an award at such a highly-regarded event as the RoSPA Awards is a great achievement for our winners. It recognises their commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record and raises the bar for other organisations to aspire to. We offer them our congratulations.
