POLLARD SEE 10% INCREASE
South West regional contractor, Pollard, have published their accounts for the financial year to March 2016 which saw its turnover maintained and profits increase. Turnover for the year was £22.4m with profit of £175,000, an increase of approximately 10%.
During the financial year the company opened a new office in Plymouth to support its increasing workload in the region which includes a £9m residential development in Mount Wise, Plymouth and a £7.75m student accommodation project in Exeter.
Commenting on the figures, Bill Badham Managing Director of Pollard said “the Board are pleased with the results which has seen the company consolidate its position as one of the leading contractors in the region. After two years of significant growth we have maintained our turnover whilst increasing our profit and investing in our future. This continuing strengthening of the business has seen us open a very successful Plymouth office and take on more staff as part of our medium term plan to grow the company.”
